[Flash Action Script Tut]

not to good

to chazly and everyone who left mean comments did you even read the rules to this? those types of comments get you banned. Leave them tips on what to do not insult them damn. anyways guy I want to leave you some KIND tips (unlike some other people)

1. instead of just giving the action script you could explain it considering it is a action script lesson. like explain like what
onClipEvent means or give simple action script lessons to begginers.

2. you didn't give to many details on what you did it was ok but not ok.
other than that it was good but you might as well have given them nothing i doubt they even learned anything except to think that when they copied and pasted the code and told their mommies "mom mom look i made a dick cursor" or something like that see were im going?
it was still alright i did like the 3-D cube it was nifty but useless lol good try.

to "flashblack" when you said "At the button section you wrote : Dont forget to make the animation a movie clip, else your button wont work.
(What the crap ?! i don't get that.. i can be wrong ofcourse)" he is saying draw (or import) a picture select it and click f8 to convert it to a movie clip then convert it to a button or it will not work right. so just do like he said and make a image select it, convert it with f8 to a movie clip then select it AGAIN and convert it to a button its easy to do...and i know what your thinking why the hell make it a movie clip first i know annoying

not bad

It was good but the simple RPG doesn't work right the only thing that works is the character movements and the counting money and lowering health but the money doesn't dis aper it is pretty much a failure on this lesson but some of the other stuff i tried turned out very well. honestly the only real problem i found with this was the lack of description on the action script under the beginners section.

This is almost perfect for beginners. I wish though that their was something for people who just started using flash like immediately after they get it so they can learn slowly with basic graphic designing and action script but this is really really close to perfect for us.
